cupcakes...

I found this recipe that I was dying to try. They were chocolate sour cream cupcakes with raspberry cheesecake buttercream. I was really excited at how they turned out. The flavor combination is a no brainer, but I just loved how the colors went together, too. The only thing I would change for the next time would be the color liners. I definitely thing the brown liners would have given these a sleeker look.

With the upcoming movie, Gnomeo and Juliet, coming out soon, we thought we'd go with that theme for our Valentine's cards this year. Thanks to Family Fun magazine for this adorable idea, we made 50 Hershey Kiss gnomes that will be placed on a home-made card. Until then, our little army of Gnomeo's are on display on a cake pedestal.
