Okay, so it's not the best photo, but I couldn't resist. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium yesterday to treat my bother and his family with our guest passes. We were fascinated by this giant bait ball of fish. The question came up, "I wonder how many of those are actually eaten?" Someday, I'll ask a naturalist there.

When I lived in Monterey, my Japanese roomate and I would go just stare at that tank and think, "Sashimi."
A couple of years ago I found awesome fish skeleton earrings in the MBAQ gift shop and sent them to her.
