melting heart...

Today after school, C got in the car and told his sister, "Hey E, get your seatbelt on and I have a surprise for you." I was just as curious as she, so I hopped in and buckled up. I saw him hand her something, and he told her he wrote her a letter. She told him she couldn't read (hello, she is only 5) , and so he read it to her. I was in the front seat with welling eyes feeling this immense sense of pride that my 7-year-old wrote such an endearing letter to the sister who isn't allowed to touch his stuff. It's these little moments that just take my breath away, and all those siblings fights are so worth it.
